Produced for "Intrusive Permutation", a group exhibition held at Gewölbe for the 2023 DC Open, Cables is a permanent installation for Gewölbe, Cologne's premier techno club. The work acts as a frieze wrapping around the doorway welcoming clubbers to the dancefloor. Reminiscent of a bold, sculptural brushstroke the image's motif is an ode to the cables essential to the production and transportation of electronic music.
